“Knock Knock!” Bianca and Maverick eyed each other at the sound of the voice behind the door. “I know. Not who you’re expecting, but my fiancé asked me to go in early as he had something in the office to complete last minute.” Natalia explained as she made her way in the hotel room.

She quickly took off her winter wear as she made herself comfortable in the space across from the couple.

“And you’re early.” Maverick stated.

“Oops! I’m sorry. I just wanted to get this out the way. KJ said I can buy my wedding accessories today so I want to make sure I have enough time to find the biggest and brightest diamond studs.”

“No need to apologize. We respect it.” Maverick affirmed.

“Natalia, just so we’re on the same page, you do live with The Satos and have been experiencing the same thing with the stalking and harrasment from this Shio person, correct?”

“Correct.”

“So can you tell us how Shio has threatened you?”

“I have a blog and this Shio person always leaves nasty comments on my posts. I have to delete so many comments daily. They have created multiple fake pages of me and photoshopped my pictures. I often resell my items on Plopsy and they will ‘buy’ the item and reverse the payment so I won’t receive the money. Super annoying. Also, they will comment on my blog that I sold them fake designer items which is not true!”

“We understand you’re getting married soon. Any threats to the wedding?”

“No… not that I can recall.”

“Have your family or friends been affected by the threats?”

“No. Just me and The Satos.”

“If you don’t mind us asking, can you tell us a little about yourself before you started dating Ken JR?”

“Well… I’m originally from Tartosa. I was raised by my dad on our family vineyard. My mother left us when I was very young, I barely remember her. It was always just me, my brother, my dad and the grapes. I’d never left Tartosa until I went away to college to study history. Going away was tough on my family because my dad is sick…mentally so I had to leave him with my just my brother to take care of him. But they’re doing okay. I go back and visit them often.

I made a lot of friends in college by joining a sorority and I quickly gained a large following on Social Bunny. That’s how I met KJ. After college I decided to make a career out of my following and became a simfluencer. And here we are!”

“Do any of your friends know what’s happening?”

“They can see all the online hate but they don’t think it’s anything more than average trolling. It’s no secret that I’m marrying a man with a notorious father. Quite honestly, if it weren’t for what his parents were going through, I would think it was just internet trolls doing what they do best.”

“What kind of relationship do you have with the Satos?”

“Well, I live with them and I’m marrying the heir to their empire so…”

“We understand you’re physically close but are you emotionally close with them? For example, do you see Marlene as a mother figure?”

Natalia quickly answered, “No. But I haven’t had much of a mother figure to compare her too. Marlene and I aren’t close but we are very respectful of each other. I can say the same for Mr. Sato too. Actually, I barely see him. He’s always working.”

“How about Ken’s sister, Emilene?”

“I barely know her. I met her once when Ken and I were dating but then she just kinda disappeared after college. I think she was just sick of the rest of the family. Ken made it clear to not ask about Emi. And then she came back this past fall, she was just different. She has never been mean to me but she’s always moody and distant. Out of respect for the family, I still asked her to be a bridesmaid but I wouldn’t say that we have a sisterly relationship. I’m way closer to Liz than Emi.”

“Liz as in Elizabeth Lee?”

“Yes. Elizabeth Kudo now. I met her through KJ because she’s married to his best friend and now she’s my best friend and maid of honor! She’s also helping me learn Komorebian for my wedding as a surprise to KJ.”

“Cute. To be honest, we don’t have much more to ask besides is there anything else you wanted to share with us?”

“Yes, actually. I know one of the reasons we had to move from Mt. Komorebi to Willow Creek was because of security reasons with stuff missing from the house. I’m not 100% sure but I think that’s still an issue. When I was packing for our flight to San Myshuno, I noticed a couple of my items were missing. I could have misplaced the items as I am still unpacking from the move and it was just some shoes and purses but still… I say all of this to say, I don’t think it is a coincidence that this issue is following us from city to city. So please, just keep an eye out for us. ”

Maverick and Bianca took a note of Natalia’s comment as Natalia dressed herself back in her coat and scarf. Before leaving Natalia left one last comment.

“Also you guys better come to my wedding!”

“Marlene did not say that stuff was missing from the house. She just said the doors and windows were unlocked.” Maverick said.

“Filtered truth. We’ll figure it out.”
