The business district of San Myshuno had a certain prestige that no other district could replicate. It could be the sprawling business centers that towered over all of the other San Myshuno buildings. Or even the fresh leather shoes and briefcases the businessmen carried. One could also contribute it to the decadent perfumes that wafted off the women. But even with all the class in the world couldn’t stop Vivienne Lee from releasing her unfiltered thoughts.
Nicky adjusted the mannequin’s outfit for the third time that morning. They made sure that each mannequin was perfect and their store was spotless. Sure, they could have requested an assistant or one of the shop girls to clean up, but no one could make it perfect like Nicky could.
Welcome back to ze blog. In honor of Wicked releasing in theaters this week, here’s a wicked themed photoshoot of the leading (and supporting) ladies of Sweeter Than Sin.
I actually have a million reasons why I took a break but honestly it doesn’t matter now. Hopefully I’m able to get back into regularly posting again.
There are two changes that I want to take for Sweeter Than Sin
For one, I want to change the names of two characters. Let’s start with this cutie:
TBH, the name Evelyn has never resonated with me for her. It makes me think of basketball wives. Before settling on Evelyn, her name was yoyo-ing between Nadia and Nadine. So here’s her new name…. drumroll pls….

I wanted to keep it similar to Evelyn to not confuse readers (and myself). Also, I think Emi is a cute name and popular for Japanese girls. Also, I wanted to give her a name similar to Marlene’s since Ken JR has Ken’s name. Trust me, it’s important for the story.
The second character that is renamed is….
Now that we have Emilene, I thought Eliana’s name was too similar. And since she’s not a main character like Emi is, I figured changing her name too wouldn’t hurt. Also, I wanted a more mature name since this character is a woman in her 50s. So her new name is…..

Unlike Emi’s new name, there’s no super connection to her new name. I just like the name Carmen. It sounds like a woman who doesn’t play.
I started retagging and rewriting Emi’s chapters with her new name but I have yet to do Carmen’s.
Before we proceed, here’s some pictures.
The second thing that I want to address is the plot. We’re not far into the story so it won’t change anything that has happened so far but I do want to change the trajectory. This means there might be some slight personality changes to the characters. Honestly, it probably won’t be noticed. I don’t want to say whose destiny will be changed yet but once I wrap this story up, I’ll reveal it!
Also, just a reminder we do have a trigger warning page as this story plans to explore some pretty dark topics and themes.
Last thing, I’ve decided to move everything to a new save file. I started doing this before my break but I was still playing in the old save file to get content out but wow my save is corrupt. Of course that’ll take some time but not 3+ months.

For our matriarch, Marlene Sato, we are casting Sanaa Lathan or Cassandra Freeman.
KJ will be played by Chance Perdomo or Justin Chu Cary.
Baby Sato, Evelyn could be played by Lex Scott Davis or Sydney Park.
And incoming Sato, Natalia could be played by Amelie Zilber or Ryan Whitney.
I’m definitely no casting director but I think the actors chosen resemble my sims so well! Any picks?
And we’re back with more Simself adventures. Just in time for Nara’s birthday!
We didn’t have enough time to clean baby Eula before the party so she showed up with her best makeup look.
Absolutely NAWT!
Infant Nara. Poor tink was bummed out all day. Even eating cake didn’t help.
Family time after the little shindig. Even though Nara and Eula no longer share a life stage, they still have a strong connection. Look at Lapiz in the back keeping a close eye on everyone.
Amaris has been feeling a little left out with all the attention on the girls.
Nara also upgraded from crib to toddler bed. So until Eula ages up, she gets her own room.
Layla popped up asking about her son. Isaac suggested that Layla takes Amaris for the weekend just so he can have some more time getting to know the other side of his family. Layla seemed pretty nonchalant about the whole thing.
The pets are starting to get fickle and fight with each other. Caesar nearly knocked the marbles out of Lapiz with Coconut nearby watching it all go down! All of the family pets are now elders so hopefully they’ll be around for a little longer.
Also I realized that Nara may be a little bit of a handful as a toddler. She hates bedtime, hates morning time but also has a good appetite.
Simself and Isaac are working hard at getting their pre-children bodies back!
Simself and Isaac have been so focused on the kids and the pets, I realized they haven’t had a date since before the wedding. So they called a nanny and made date night in the backyard.
Thank Plumbob that Amaris is away at his mother’s so he can’t see what his parents are doing with his stuff.
Tuesday morning and Isaac started to get worried that his son hasn’t returned from his 2 day stay at mother’s house. (Amaris left on Friday btw) So Isaac called up Layla and demanded she bring him home now!
He definitely told her about herself for such nonsense. (Also look at Isaac’s abs! Major improvement!)
This is how Amaris returned home. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw him. I forgot that Amaris had a loose tooth when he left and due to an EA glitch, the kid gets all wonky once the tooth falls out.
Going to be slowly moving my Sweeter Than Sin sims to a new save file since my game crashes in that save. But since I have an itch to play, I’ve been living my best life through the sims.
Let’s start off with my sim having a heart attack and dying as soon as I opened the save file. I quickly closed the game without saving and tried again lol
Amaris aged up to a child! I tried to throw him a mini birthday party but the stove caught fire as soon as I finished making the cake. At least the cake is cute.
(Also my husband’s dog, Caesar, aged up to an elder! Look at all the grey. Isaac had this dog before my simself and him even met!)

That same night my sim self found out she was pregnant. It was a cryptic pregnancy so she didn’t have any symptoms until she was already in her second trimester. She dislikes being pregnant so she was pretty upset about it. Also, she just had Nara so I didn’t think she would be having another one so soon. I figured I would play another family since I have my pregnancy span set to 10 days.
I left, and came back and my simself gave birth to the new baby already! Darn it! I really wanted to do another gender reveal and I missed it. Oh well.
It’s a girl, I named her Eula.
Sorry, there’s no blobby baby pictures of Eula. But plenty of infant pictures of her and her sister 🙂

At a glance, they look like twins but Nara takes after daddy with her green eyes and Eula takes after mommy with her brown eyes.

My simself moved out of their cute Oasis Springs house and into a spacious San Sequoia home. The new house is the perfect size until they send their kids away for college.
The four of them spend a lot of time in this bedroom.
Including our pets, Coconut, Caesar and Lapiz (not pictured), we have a full house! Coconut also aged into an elder, shortly after Caesar! Phew, life comes at you fast!
When Amaris aged into a child, he got a gift in the mail from his birth mother (who never bothered to reach out or visit him). Now that he’s a little older, he can go visit her by himself. So he did. His birth mother, Layla, is now married to Salim Benali and pregnant with his child. She also has another son named Wilder by a man named Sam. Salim, Layla, Wilder and their 4 dogs and 2 horses all live in an one bedroom apartment. I made them give up the horses and one dog so now she has room for her baby when they arrive.
Amaris looks just like his mother 🙂
Anyway, we’re trying to get back to regularly scheduled programming after popping out two babies back to back! Whenever she can, my simself is typing away on her laptop, trying to write her next best seller! Isaac is often sneaking off to take naps in Amaris’s room!
Don’t let the naps off fool you. He’s a great partner to have! Here’s Isaac walking Coconut in the middle of the night. Isaac takes cares of all the pets needs while still going to work and helping out with the kids!
That’s all I have in this update. I know that Nara is aging up to a toddler really soon. And my simself will age into an adult in the next few weeks.
I want to retire Isaac early so I need to find him a fruitful career that will allow him to send more time at home with the kids.
Also, Ken Sato appeared in this save file… as the repair man. Like I said earlier, life comes at you fast!
First of all, thank you for following along with my story. Even though I’m only three chapters in, I feel like I’ve written an encyclopedia’s worth of words LOL. If you’re not aware, I post this story to my tumblr as well but tbh I’m very inconsistent with posting. I’ve been considering new ways to show my story and I think I’ve figured it out – YouTube! The Youtube series will be the same story but more of a summary format with all of the pictures from this blog. I’ve started listening to more podcasts and this is the closest I can get to that format.

I haven’t figured out the pacing of the YouTube videos yet but I have no intention on slowing down on posting due this “new” series! Chapter 4 is already in the works BUT since the last update, my save file won’t load so I might have to create a whole new save file. Hopefully I can figure out the issue before it comes to that!
To celebrate my new series, I think I want to do a pack giveaway for the next new pack so keep an eye out for that post as well.

I saw the dresses on DHM and wanted to see the girls in them but I knew that the photos won’t fit into the story so I’m sharing them here lol. “Maverick.” Bianca warned.
“Please. Don’t act like you didn’t notice.” Maverick snickered. Bianca did notice a certain misplacement of Emilene’s role in the family opposed to Ken’s but it wasn’t her place to judge. That’s not why she was here. She was here to solve a case and Emilene’s disconnection from the Sato family could prove to be a vantage point for the investigators.
